At Ernest Bevin there are always adults to whom you can turn if you are worried about yourself or another pupil. All students have a tutor and a head of year. All adults in the college will listen to pupils and deal with issues or pass them on to a relevant person. Parents and carers can also contact tutors and heads of year to raise concerns.
This arrangement works well but research shows that a small proportion of young people prefer a more detached system. This is where the SHARP system can come in.
The college is interested to hear about specific issues and also more general concerns. Any reports made will be read and followed up appropriately.
